Heading into my auction next week. What to do?

Here are the details:
12-team, NL-only, 6X6 (ERA, WHIP, SV, HD, W-L, K; AVG, HR, RBI, R, D+T, SB)

The rosters have a minimum 30 players, and a maximum of 34. This is a pretty deep league.

Here are my keepers:
SP: Hanson ($12)
SP: Chacin ($3)
SP: Volquez ($1)
SP: Zimmermann ($1)
RP: Gregerson ($5)
RP: Meek ($3)
1B/CI: G. Sanchez ($5)
2B/MI: N. Walker ($3)
SS/MI: Desmond ($3)
OF: Pagan ($5)

I think my pitching looks pretty good. I think I need to buy an ace at auction. I also need to purchase some top-line hitters. The team has a nice group of inexpensive players, which will leave me some money to spend.

Is this team competitive?
