Horrible trade to veto or not ?

I'm in a dynasty league with deeep bench.

someone just traded Logan Morrison and Nick Markakis for Aubrey Huff and Brennan Boesch...

It's an horrible trade IMO.

Logan Morrison vs Huff could be a decent trade... but I think morrison have more value since he will play full time in FLA and was a decent prospect in the minors hitting 292/383/465 with some great power.

Then it leave us with Nick Markakis vs Brennan Boesch ???

Boesch was never a top 100 prospect. He got a decent minor league record, and a great first 100 AB in the majors ... but that's it. He will be a bench player this year in DET...

against markakis ? an establised player, that's entering his prime and will hit in the middle of a great offensive lineup in BAL.

I'm the commish of this league and I can't believe everyone in the league wants that trade to happen...

Yeah, it is a bad trade, but I wouldn't veto it. There is no reason to think that this early in the season somebody would purposely be tanking, so maybe both parties actually like what they are getting? I'd say the commish's job is to prevent cheating, not protect someone from being taken advantage of.

I'd certainly prefer the Markakis side of the deal, but this isn't close to vetoable, IMO.

Well in a seasonal league I would agree. But in a dynasty league I dont see this league working out for the guy who gets boesch and huff.

Anyway, the trade was allowed. Thanks to all !

Markakis part getting a lot better deal but don't think it is veto worthy.
