8 + 15 = 23
There's your first problem. To solve your problem of creating your schedule, you can do it the same way I do my football: I make a spreadsheet with teams running across and teams running down. Then when I make a matchup I put in the week. It ensures that everyone plays each other and there's no double-ups. If that's too much work, check here:
