Looks like he will be the #4 for NYY. Pitched six no hit innings this week.

He is on waivers in my league.

Would like to pick him up but he is worth a waiver claim (currently #2)?

Nova has some great stuff, but it may be a little early for waiver claims.

Yeah, and I know he had that great outing in ST, but it's just ST and it's a small sample size. Everything I've read about Nova says he profiles as solid, not good, back of the rotation guy - i.e. not an impact fantasy player.

I would also hold off. It's early yet.

Nover is an interesting pick. Last year, he was good through 5 innings but collapsed after that. This off season he has developed a good slider which will greatly help. He is a year more experienced and more mentally mature. He might be a decent sleeper for 15 wins (along with a 4.75 ERA) considering the Yankees excellent offense.

Stay away for now, he's pitching in new Yankee Stadium against all big leaguers from now on... I doubt he'll be fantasy worthy, maybe a flash here or there, but not worth the gamble. :-t

I wouldn't blow a waiver claim on him yet.
