12 teams, 5 keepers each year (can keep indefinitely)...C/1B/2B/3B/SS/MI/CI/OF/OF/OF/OF/U/9 P/4 BN/2 DL
Current keepers: Utley, Fielder, Longoria, Votto, A-Rod
With Utley's past injury history plus his current knee troubles, I'm considering trying to sell now and offering him up around the league, targeting other top 2B, mainly Cano and Pedroia...I am thinking of Utley straight up for Pedroia OR Utley + a draft pick for Cano (not saying these ideas would work)...thoughts? Is this more of a panic move? Keepers are due tomorrow...I'm anxious about him having to have knee surgery and missing a good chunk of the season but also don't want to just sell in a panic...
I would be all about moving Utely if you can but I really don't think either of those guys would be willing to make a deal. Everyone knows about Utley right now and with so many questions marks it is unlikely someone will trade a stud 2B for a guys who is questionable to play this season.

Any savvy manager would smell the panic on a offer like that but it's worth a shot. I don't think you'd have success pulling Pedrioa for Utley straight up right now... you'd probably have to offer a little more to get it done.
I would take a look at who your 6th keeper would be because it doesn't sound too good for Utley this season.
Here's to you, Mr. Robinson. Jesus loves you more than you Cano.
