Just made a trade - opinions?

So this is a 10 team 13x13 scoring league.

I traded away Youkilis and Javier Vazquez

and got

Cain and Broxton.

I was already pretty stacked at 3B and 1B (Zimmerman, Reynolds, C. Jones, Lind, C. Lee)

and needed help with SP (CC, Latos, Marcum, Lilly, Hughes, Kuroda, Shields)

Did I make a good move? I dont like Youk much and I feel like Broxton will have a solid bounceback year

Hard to say without knowing what the scoring categories are. I would say no you didn't make a good trade at first glance.

Well there are 13 scoring categories for batters ( Runs (R), Hits (H), Singles (1B), Doubles (2B), Triples (3B), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Walks (BB), Strikeouts (K), Assists (A), Errors (E), Batting Average (AVG) )

and 13 categories for pitchers ( Innings Pitched (IP), Wins (W), Losses (L), Complete Games (CG), Shutouts (SHO), Saves (SV), Hits (H), Earned Runs (ER), Walks (BB), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP) )

McCutch, Bruce, Stubbs, Granderson, Raburn

Does that change your opinion at all??

It's not that your weren't trading for something you need and out of a strength you had. but I just think you could have gotten more for Youk. Your team may actually be better and it was still a bad trade if you didn't get as much as you could have. And you don't need Broxton. I actually think he bounces back this year and is good value, but unless you need the saves which you don't really that there was no need to trade for him.
