feeling better than ever about my uconn pick after watching them play and hearin some encouraging comments today on colin cowherd's morning show. he argued that home wins mean squat and road wins or wins, on a neutral court against top notch opponents, are the best indicator of a good team. i think you see where i'm going with this, uconn has the rest of the field beat in that regard.
on the other hand, my ride on oakland's bandwagon was bumpy and short. turns out these charlotons aren't even from the REAL okland and are resident's of some crap state like new york or something.
washington (my other risky pick) is playing as i type and just georgia looks meaner. interested to see how this plays out.
Years ago I was #1 on the ESPN brackets on the women's side up until the championship game. I was pretty much perfect picking all top seeds except for MN and it was the year Minnesota made a deep run. I picked them to win it all since I knew nothing about women's basketball and they went to the final four or something. After they lost I think I ended up somewhere around 200.
