I was just offered Colby Rasmus and Matt Weiters for Andrew McCutchen and Michael Cuddyer. Personally, I'll take the drop in steals for the uptick that Rasmus offers in other categories. I would also benefit massively from an upgrade at catcher. Cuddyer won't be in the lineup except when other guys have off days, so I'm not too concerned about his loss. I can also pick up Ryan Raburn as my bench outfielder. So what's your take? Leave your links.

I'm not sure Wieters is a big improvement. Suzuki won't hurt you at catcher. And I think you get more production out of McCutchen then Rasmus. I wouldn't bother with it. I do like Raburn though. Keep on eye on him either way.

I'm not a big believer in Rasmus, especially not in his batting average, which should drop back down to .260
I don't think it's worth the risk to get Wieters, especially if you look at Suzuki's 2009 numbers, which if he reproduces, Wieters will have a hard time beating.

I would pass. While the upgrade from Suzuki to Weiters is nice, the drop off from McCutchen to Rasmus is too much.
League Setup:
13 Team Points League
6 Hitters 3 Pitchers (Positions don't matter)
1B = 1, 2B = 2, 3B = 3, HR = 4, RBI = 1
Win = 12, Save = 5

I would stick with the players you have now. I think McCutcheon is definitely the best player in the trade and you're not getting enough of an upgrade from Suzuki to Wieters to justify the trade.

Yeah, sit tight on that one, Weiters is probably another year away.
What do you think about my two offers?
