Danny Bautista's disclocated shoulder and word?

I am in an extremely tight 12 team NL league and Danny boy has been putting up some nice #'s. I can't afford to lose him for the year.

Any word on how long he is gonna be out?

10 days, a month, etc.

If he goes to the DL who do i add to my lineup.

I have J. Macias on my Bench. He isn't very good or i could pick up Jeremy Giambi, or Quinton McCraken Bautista's backup.

What do you think Arlo and the rest?

Unfortunately, Bautista will be out for a while. The target return date is three months from now, although that isn't etched in stone, and it's not a given that he'll be at 100% when he does come back.

Sorry about the bad news. The Macias vs. Giambi question came up a day or two ago. There were a couple differing opinions about Giambi's value; I still think he's a better bet than Macias at this point. I'd move Bautista to the DL (or drop him outright if your league doesn't have a DL), drop Macias, and pick up both Giambi and McCracken, who might put up decent numbers given this opportunity.
