12-team 6x6 mixed keeper (OBP & Losses making up the 6th cats).
C - Napoli 1B - Texeira 2B - Weeks SS- Drew 3B - Sandoval (keeper) UTIL - Votto OF - Bautista (keeper), N.Cruz, Kemp, Rajai Davis (keeper) BENCH: Pierre, A. Hill. K.Ka'aihue
SP: Hanson, C.Lewis, J.Vazquez, de la Rosa, J.Zimmerman RP: Axford, Storen, League, Bard
I think I'm good on power, runs, OBP, RBI (votto, tex, bautisia, weeks...good on SB with Davis and Pierre (VERY good if Votto/Cruz/Kemp can contribute)...I obviously waited on pitching, with Hanson being my ace and Axford/Storen anchoring my bullpen, but I think Storen can be a top 5 closer, and Paps is on thin ice, Bard = one of better handcuffs. League will at least get save opps first month. Need Weeks to stay healthy -- and Cruz, obviously -- and need Kemp to turn it around and be the stud he was supposed ot be last year. I'll prob trade for a frontline SP at some point.
So, any other thoughts would be great, lv a link, will DEFINITELY hit you back. Thanks.
Pretty decent shot here. I worry about Napoli as your full time catcher. He's just not going to play enough (even tho he should) Even splitting time between a few positions, he doesnt really have one of his own. If you can get a catcher who plays everyday, I would try to do that and keep Napoli as a back up.
Your pitchers kinda worry me as there is no real legit stud on the staff. Colby lewis had a great year last year, hopefully he keeps it up. I dont know if Hanson should be your go to guy on a staff. You did good though, lineup real solid (except I hate Sandoval, I know some like him) Thanks for looking at mine.
I'm not a big fan of 4 RPs, SP is so deep, there should be some good guys out there or maybe you're planning to stream SPs, which I almost always end up doing.
I agree about Napoli, I'd look for someone like Posada or perhaps Yadier as a filler and he should be available in many leagues.

Rp needs help. Axford could be good but storen is no sure thing and league is temporary. Bard is elite if he ever closes. You'll have to work the ww for sp. Beyond hanson,

I think your team is pretty good. I expect Kemp to do well all around this year. He is working this spring on his stealing, so hopefully that will improve. not too high on your starting pitchers without a top caliber pitcher in there unless vazquez can bring it like he has in the past. hanson dropped off last year, so not sure if he can replicate 2009. i like lewis, but even in his season last year where he approached 200k he still had a losing record AFTER he dropped his WHIP by .4. I look for him to regress. De la Rosa is good, but withj half his games in coors, its a gamble. hes coming off a big injury and is already reporting back pain in camp. zimmerman has a lot of upside, but onloy if he gets run support, but i look for him to have a good season. i like axford but riggleman has indicated he will be using a closer by committee approach. maybe storen will earn the job in the regular season, but riggleman also said its possible he will begin the season in the minors, so that really only leaves axford for saves. i would definitely look to find a reliever for some saves. overall, the team has a lot of potential. i think sandoval will bounce back well, so you may have a decent bat in kemp or sandoval to trade for a decent SP and RP.
Thanks, everyone. (Mateo, getting to yours in 5 minutes). Thinking of dropping Ka'aihue for another RP speculation -- Kuo? Hensley? Ogando? Or a possible SP with SOME upside -- Bedard? Stauffer? Masterson? Homer Bailey? Mike Minor? Leaning Minor...

My favorite SP with upside right now is Webb, if available. As for RP, Kuo might be good because Broxton will have a short leash this year. I'm a Dodger fan, and I am not very optimistic this year for Broxton. I look for Kuo to get a lot of saves and Jansen to get a decent amount.
wow your team looks good. your sp rotation has a couple guys that will need to step it up this year. but i like hanson and vazquez will be way better than he was last year.
rp is so volatile that i think you'll be ok just browsing the ww. if paps loses his job, you're solid. or else you can look to oakland, texas, or broxton losing his job and just snag whoever becomes the closer for those teams.
you can probably drop kila and go for a guy like minor.
