Utley... keeper? WHIR

Hey all, holy cow this place is great for info! I'm looking for advice on Utley and I need to make a decision by tomorrow evening... Thanks in advance for any help.

It's a keeper league, 12 team mixed, HTH each category.
Keep up to 6, but for every keeper declined get a draft pick.
Last year, our initial year, I got my butt handed to me. A deadly combo of upside gambles not paying off, a couple rookie mistakes, and a ton of bad luck. At least I have the top spot for draft picks this year. Most of my team isn't worth keeping but 3 I'm looking to keep are Youklis, Utley, and Granderson. But Utley scares me with no good word on that knee. I'm paranoid too. A lot of players burned me last year waiting around for them to get healthy (Rollins, Peavy) or be called up (Strasburg) so I'm very leary of gambling on Utley's knee.

Also looking at potentially keeping Cory Hart, Rollins, Carlos Quentin, Madison Bumgarner. Thoughts? Thanks again.

OK, here's my advice:

I'd keep Youklis for sure - (he's the best player you have and 1B/3B is a plus)
pass on Utley (way too risky for a 1st or 2nd pick - not sure when you got him last year)
I think Granderson has a bounce back year

As for the others, stick with Bumgarner (I'm guessing you got him way late or undrafted - great value) All the others are an injury risk - looks like you need a fresh start, don't hang on to too many risky players.
I'd suggest giving up an early pick for another stud (you may have a team in your league with multiple 1B willing to give up a Tex/Howard/Fielder for your 2nd round pick [from Utley])

So if you keep only 2 or 3 guys, you will get 3-4 picks at the start of the draft? So if you are the only one not keeping 6 guys, you could have 4 straight picks?

If this is correct, then I keep only Youk. Everyone else you could get back in the draft or find a better player.
