Next draft pick: Gardner, Gio Gonzalez, or Alvarez? WHIR

10 team points league. We auction 17 players, and pick 8 by draft (I pick 4th). After the auction, I have concerns at 3B, OF, and SP. Which position should I shore up with my first pick? (roster below)

Best options at OF: Gardner, Swisher, Bourn, Adam Jones
Best options at 3B: Alvarez, Reynolds
Best options at SP: G. Gonzalez, Vasquez, Volquez, Hellickson

Part of me wants to go with OF and pick Gardner, as Sizemore is such an injury risk. But it seems that every season there is an OF that puts up unexpected numbers. 3B is always thin, but I think that in this league Alvarez may slip to my second pick. I really like Gonzalez, plays in a pitchers park and was very consistent all year last year, but I already have two very young starters. Thoughts?

i think in a points leauge, imassuming like my format, if gardner ends up leading off, will be a monster this year....if there was a better pitcher there Id so go pitcher, i i have a feeling at some point gardner will take th eleadoff role and flourish

Alvarez out of that group of 3, but depending on your scoring system(whether K's are a negative point or not), I could see myself going with Reynolds even over Alvarez.
