What is the goal of the trade? Doesn't seem like you are gaining or losing that much. Haren IMO will have a great season, Cruz is overrated (better than Young though), Lackey is diminishing, I do like Lewis though. I would hold on Beckham not knowing Utley's situation even though you have a backup, Beckham should have a decent season for a 2b.
Easy no on the first one. You are getting the best player of the deal in Cruz, but I'd say both Haren and CBY are potentially undervalued. Perhaps if you can talk your way into getting an upgrade over Lackey, I'd say it's a yes.

IMO, you are giving up the best pitcher in this deal. I definitely wouldn't go after the Pavano deal (seems like you threw that out already). FA pool sounds like a better option at this point.

I would. Beckham is underrated IMO, I feel that he can bring you better value at his position that Pavano, who is see as a potential bust candidate. The FA pool always yields SP who are putting out higher numbers than expected, and there should be some decent value there all year long.
