Solid H2H strategy?

Postby davdav » Fri Mar 11, 2011 2:56 am

10 team 5x5 H2H first year keeper league (we keep none this year). ESPN standard roster, with one additional IF and bench spots. We use FAAB, so you can't stream. Also, you have to start a minimum of six SP per week, so you can't load up on relievers.

Basically, I have a feeling that a good amount of people in my league are going to go heavy on hitting, what with the pitching depth this year. I have pick 8, and have been planning to go pretty much only hitting for the first 8 rounds. However, I was thinking about possibly going SP for the first couple rounds. No one else will be reaching for them, so I could theoretically get Halladay Felix Lester Verlander will my first four picks. I am pretty confident I could build a solid hitting staff later on in the draft. Do-able H2H strategy? Let me know...
