I need to give my 6 keepers tonight. I am definitely keeping Crawford, Longoria, Jimenez and McCutchen. Having trouble picking the last 2. Just consider them keepers for this year since we get new talent anyway.... Any thoughts?
I am in a 12-team H2H Keeper League and I will have the 12th and 13th picks in the draft. A lot of studs are finished their 3-year contracts and heading back into the draft (Pujols, Miggy, Hanley, Halladay, etc...)
We use these stats: 9 x 9 categories (R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, AVG -- IP, CG, W, L, ER, ERA, K, SV, WHIP
Pick 2 of: Jeter Ellsbury Dunn Roberts Granderson Stanton Buchholz Bumgarner Soria Scherzer

Pick 2 of: Jeter - good, but enough decent SSs out there Ellsbury - solid, but mainly for steals and you can draft a team of 5 steal guys and not be able to make up huge power numbers elsewhere. Dunn - KEEP Roberts - Just no Granderson - I think he'll have a great year, but I prefer the two keepers I list Stanton - KEEP Buchholz - solid Ws, but unless it's a top 7 pitcher, don't keep a pitcher (in my books) Bumgarner - I want him this year, but his numbers, while solid, are available in other pitchers Soria - I never keep closers Scherzer - Could be keeper worthy after this year, but still not entirely sold
What say you to the idea of keeping Jeter, throwing back Dunn, and drafting a Prince or Howard or the like in round 1 and then drafting an ace right after that with the 13th pick? that way i'd be covered going into the draft at 3b, ss, 3 OF, and 1 SP
