I'm desperately trying to improve my pitching staff, and this trade has been offered to me. I did this draft without much research, and realized that Matt Cain pitched something like 200-230 innings last season. This worries me, and I think he could be due for a down year.
I'm leaning towards not accepting, because I remember reading Jiminez didn't have great numbers after the ASB last year, so he might not really be that much of an improvement over Cain.
What do y'all think?

Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!
Without knowing more about your league or team, it's hard to say. I think Ubaldo is better than Cain, but how much better? If you can use Morales, I'd go with him and Cain over Jiminez.
I'm not a huge fan of Cain, but I do think Morales could be a bit under-rated this year. Not to mention Jimenez still has to pitch 1/2 his games in Colorado. I wouldn't do it.
The other owner is trying to buy low on Morales. On its face, I wouldn't do the trade, but it really depends on who you've got right now at 1B. Who would Kendrys be replacing?
about the only way this could work is if you have someone nearly equal to Morales that you can't play, and thats probably not very likely. Keep Kendrys, as he wants to be called, and Cain

Jimenez has a higher upside than Cain, but Cain is very consistent and pitches in a great park. The difference between the two does not equal a player the quality of Morales.
