Looking for unique ways to determine draft order...

We do the Draft Randomizer every year but lately an owner wants to shake it up a bit. He thinks it would be cool if the 1st place team gets the first choice to pick a draft position. 2nd place gets next choice and so on. So, if I win the league I get first option to pick a draft slot so if I want #1 overall I can have it. Or, if I want the #6 pick and draft in the middle of each serpentine round I could.

What are some unique ways, or different from a randomizer, that you determine draft order for the following season. Please share even if not unique.

For years we did it this way in our draft league. == Each owner picks a number from 00 to 99. When all numbers are in the next days Dow-Jones Average is used. The two numbers to the right of the decimal decides who gets first choice. As you said the first choice would then pick his draft position, then on to the second closest to pick his draft position.

When I started my keeper league 3 yrs ago I made all my owners pick a state and I picked a date then we checked the state lottery results and whoever had the highest number picked 1st lowest number picked last. Just make sure all states chosen have same #balls drawn.
Now we go reverse order from last years standings with the exception of whoever spends the most money and does not finish in the money gets first overall pick.
