Question which COULD make you think twice: I didn't see your keeper parameters, what are they? That is, is there a big price or round-drafted difference b/t the two? e.g. if Bautista costs you a buck (assuming you snagged him off waivers last season like everyone else) and Wright is $36, or if Bautista is the equivalent of a 23rd rounder and Wright is a 2nd rounder, then the VALUE play might be Bautista.

No, nothing like that. It's a straight-up keeper format--doesn't matter where you drafted the player.

I'd go with Wright easily. I do think Bautista is capable of hitting 35 HR, but you would essentially be paying for a less safer Adam Dunn that just happens to have dual 3B/OF eligibility. Wright is safer this year and in the long run.
You keep mentioning that Wright hit just 10 homers 2 years ago... yet other than that he is a 25-30 homer guy w/great avg., swipes, runs, rbi... basically the total package. Other than last year Bautista had never hit more than I believe 16 HR in a single season w/all other counting stats being mediocre at best (most downright pathetic). Don't be the guy that gets burned by his fluke season. Wright is a blue chipper... there isn't even a decission to think about here... keep Wright.
First off... You literally had the draft of the century last year. I can't say enough how awesome that was. Wow.
Second, don't even consider Bautista over Wright. You have four, count 'em, FOUR first round players in this year's draft. Not only that, but you've got 2nd and 3rd basemen in there... You absolutely have to keep Wright and laugh yourself all the way to the 'ship. Barring draft karma slapping you this year, you're gonna get there no problem.
keep wright and if you're really that hard up for bautista, trade for him during the season. i am pretty sure you can get bautista and another player for wright.
