Watched the game today....

Postby metsfan1969 » Sun Mar 09, 2003 7:45 pm

I was watching the Mets game today and I was really impressed by the way they are scoring runs. Also, I was impressed with Russ Johnson at third base. Dude made some NICE plays. Also had a double. Leiter looked great with 4 shutout innings as well. Got a look at a lot of lefty relief today. Wondering how that's all gonna pan out. You can also tell by the way that Toca is playing that he really, really wants a job with the Mets.

Cedeno, Sanchez, Burnitz...they all look like they wanna play some ball! This is going to be good!

There was so much talk about Johnson last year what happened to him????

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.
