Your league offers strikeouts at +1 instead of +.5 like mine like it used to be, thats great. In that case, especially with Wins being downgraded from 7 to 5, I'd have to go with K pitchers. These 5 are best your options in my opinion. In this order:
Kuroda- hes top notch and mostly overlooked, hes on a team that gets wins and he has great control. His reliable consistency is what makes him my #1 pick.
Anderson- this guy's a rising star despite his team. He's a star in the making and if he's traded to a contender you win monumentally.
Hudson- i only place him behind anderson because he's not a strikeout guy.
Romero- Ive had ricky for two years in a points league and I'm sold on him, he's the next TOR ace. He can be drafted as a #4 and perform like a #2 or 3 a lot of weeks
Bumgarner- might even be able to be ranked ahead of ricky, he's going to be facing a lot of bad starters being a #4 pitcher. Same as the cole hamels effect. with Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, and Jonathan Sanchez before him, Maddy will be facing some weak pitching opponents and should rack up the wins with his K abilities, he just needs to get his control down. If you draft him like I did, expect some wildly pitched games.
Opinions on mine? its a points league tooviewtopic.php?t=423389
