10 teams, H2H, 7th pick... who to take??

Postby TheGhost » Mon Mar 07, 2011 12:45 pm

So I landed the 7th pick. Ugh.

Albert Pujols
Han-Ram
M-Cab
Tulo

Who are the next three off the board??

There is a lot of variance here. While you're in a tough spot to make a decision, you still have a lot of great choices since after #4, you have like 7 guys that all have very similar value.

I've done 2 mocks and a real draft so far for a 12 team league, the results have been:

5. Halladay/Votto/Longoria
6. A.Gonzalez/A.Gonzalez/Votto
7. Braun/Crawford/Braun
8. Votto/Braun/CarGo
9. Cano/Longoria/Cano
10. Longoria/CarGo/A.Gonzalez
11. CarGo/Cano/Wright
12. Crawford/Wright/Crawford

Hope that helps. Assuming Tulo goes 4, I would go: Longoria>Votto>A.Gonzalez>Cargo/Braun>Crawford

I've had 7th pick in a mock and a deeper league this year. Both times I took Longoria.

Assuming Pujols, Hanley, M-Cab, Votto, Tulowitzki, and Longoria are off, I'd go with Braun for sure at #7.

Try to fill a thin position select Longoria if he's available..
else maybe shoot for AGoz/Reyes
