Roto league (standard stats + Holds/OBP) keeper league. With a five-man staff, how many No. 1 starters would you be comfortable with entering the season?

trick question
what do you consider a #1? I'll take the Phillies #4 over many teams #1.
If you get one of the top 7-8 guys, thats all you need.Even your final starter is going to be pretty decent this year again with the depth at the position

Not exactly sure what you mean by #1. I am usually ok with not having any teams #1. There is enough depth that I will wait on SP.

You're right. I was unclear on my question. I guess I should reprhase it as how many top-20 pitchers would you feel comfortable with on your roster entering the season.

I ask this because I have agurably four No. 1's and Washington's "other ace". Feeling it might be overkill, I did move one of my top pitchers last night and landed Andrew McCutchen to strengthen my offense and replaced that pitcher with Johnny Cueto who was wasting away on my bench.

I like to bank on having two stud starters and 2 mid rotation starters (kinds you know what your going to get out of - guys like Tim Hudson) and a couple of upside back end starters that you can always stream for 2 starts.
