What do you guys think i have both votto and longoria in my last contract yr for my 2 keepers. i was offered lincecum straight up for one of the 2?? its a keeper league and i go back to the al this yr to draft..pitching is pretty tuff to find an ace. Seems as if lester, weaver, haren, price would be best avail right off the start for the draft..
scoring pts looks like this for batting...
Singles (1B) 1 Doubles (2B) 2
Triples (3B) 3 Home Runs (HR) 4
Walks (BB) 1 Runs Scored (R) 1
Runs Batted In (RBI) 1 Stolen Bases (SB) 1
Strikeouts (K) -1
And like this for pitching...
Innings Pitched (IP) 0.99 Earned Runs (ER) -1
Wins (W) 3 Losses (L) -2
Saves (SV) 5 Strikeouts (K) 1
Shutouts (SO) 5 Complete Games (CG) 3
Quality Starts (QS) 2

I say stick w/Votto and Longoria... either Lester or Weaver would make a great ace for your team imo. I always prefer a stud offensive player to a stud pitcher just bc there is soo much pitching out there and there's always surprises plus a stud offensive player helps you everyday... a pitcher every 5th day. thnx for the help on mine.

Thanks for the help on mine. I would definitely hold out for more for Votto or Longoria. Maybe counter for something better, or go for another bat if you can. There really aren't any starting arms who are worth either of those two guys, unless your league is really pitching friendly.
