McCutch&Hanson for Victorino&Hamels and more... WHIR

Postby ryetoast93 » Sun Mar 06, 2011 7:08 pm

So my 8 team, H2H league drafted yesterday and the trade talks have commenced. I have the opportunity to trade Victorino and Hamels for McCutchen and Hanson. Then I would trade McCutchen for Heyward, and then Heyward for Oswalt and Bay. It seems like a no-brainer, but I need some reassurance. Also, I think Drew Stubbs is going to be great this year, and he is on the team that has McCutchen, etc. Any ideas on who I can offer to make it a 3-3 deal? Thanks!

I would accept the deal as currently proposed, and I would hold on to McCutchen. If I did trade him for Heyward (which I wouldn't), I certainly wouldn't trade Heyward for Oswalt/Bay.

I agree with your thinking up until the point of trading Heyward for Oswalt and Bay. I would rather just hang onto Heyward. Just my tow cents.

The initial trade for McCutchen and Hanson is an easy win for you.

If you do end up flipping McCutchen for Heyward, however, you should under no circumstances re-flip Heyward for that package of Oswalt and Bay.
