I would take either Bills or Scherzer. I think this comes down to personal preference. I see Billingsley has a very nice year this season so I would go with him. Not sure what I think of Scherzer.

I agree with Bills or Scherzer. While I think Bills is the safer bet, I could convince myself to take Scherzer.

Scherzer for Vic is a great deal. Cheap speed can be had.
Is Podsednik, Pierre, or Rajai Davis available?
or even deeper guys like Pennington can chip in the speed Vic would give you.

I'd drop Johnny Damon for Carlos Quentin pretty damn quick!

i ended up trading victorino and cahill for haren instead.

good deal?

also, quentin will be very expensive so i will not overbid on him....i should prob try to get pena though

I personally would have rather gone with Bills. I think he would have been the anchor of your rotation. IMO Haren was a top tier SP a few years ago, but is way too much of a gamble with his injury history.

Hate to say it but I agree. Not a fan of Haren where as Billingsley is getting into that prime age a lot of players take a step forward at.
