5x5 Roto, 10 team, $300 cap, 10 deep bench, 13/9 (2 C) weekly lineups, keep 8.
We keep 8 so one of the below has to go. Auction inflation is pretty high. Who should I let walk of the below 9? Tex $19 (Can give a 1 to 4 year contract) Utley $8 (Can give a 1 to 4 year contract) Tulo $13 (3 years left on contract...have to keep) Longoria $6 (2 years left on contract...have to keep) Zimmerman $16 (Can give a 1 to 4 year contract) Crawford $4 (2 years left on contract...have to keep) Halladay $26 (Can give a 1 to 4 year contract) Sabathia $21 (Can give a 1 to 4 year contract) Posey $6 (Can give a 1 to 4 year contract)

As a point of reference for the auction inflation, CC will likely go for something like $35 in the auction if let go. Zimmerman probably about $25-$30. It is difficult to put an estimated price on Posey, but I would venture to guess $15-$20. Halladay will be $40+...Tex $30+ so they seem like easy keeper decisions. I basically am having a hard time choosing between CC, Posey and Zimmerman on the cut. My gut tells me to keep CC and not bother with a C. Posey is such a bargain though.
In a 2 C league Posey is a must. probably was anyway CC seems the easiest to replace even tho he's a huge bargain, you are going to have the bucks to spend after this roster of values. Keep the hitters and the ace, tons of pitching to be found this year

At first glance CC is the definite choice but after reading SecretAgentMan's comments I might tend to agree with him. Also your $300 salary cap with 10 teams drastically ups the player's values more than I'm used to. In my 13 team $260 roto league CC went for about $29 last year but with your league I can see him going for nearly $40, hard telling.
I like the big fella but you need to let him go. Those bats are way too good value to just let go. You can always deal for pitcher later or acquire some cheaper, but equally-as-good talent in the auction. Guys like Hanson, Scherzer, Anibal Sanchez, Brett Myers should be solid bargains.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
OK, with the current injury situation wrt Utley, might it now be wise to let him walk amongst this group. His value at auction (this Sun) is bound to be depressed from the injury news so I could possibly buy him back for a somewhat reasonable price.
