As the Chronicle said this morning, skeptits say thta Clemens can only pitch 5 innings. Then again, look at the Houston manager. A perfect match.

Clemens is 41 years old. 5 innings at that age is better than nothing. You can't say anything about the shape that he's in.

No problem. As the minutes go by, I can see him coming back. I know that he is from the area and he is Pettitte's boy but I'd rather see him just hang 'em up and call it a career. The Fenway ovation, Florida ovation, etc. That would be lessened.

What happens if he faces the Mets? Think they actually hit him this time?

i hope. j rob had that huge era but he defenetly has the mentality to become a decent starter. as long as we dont get a middle reliever, id be okay with anything

i think redding is a better starter. he just never got run support for shit.

i also think redding is 4th, hernandez likely 5th.
