I'm working on a deal to trade Pujols. I play in a 12 team, contract keeper league, head-to-head. I already have Adrian Gonzalez at my CI position, so I think I can get some good value for Pujols.
Check out the proposed trade below and let me know your thoughts? I am trying to improve my pitching, as that seems to be the main factor in winning this league. I have put each players contract years in ( ).
I offer:
Pujols (4)
Soto (1)
Garza (1)
Rzepczynski (drafted this year, so contract can be determined by new owner, up to 5 years)
Dayan Viciedo (minor league contract)
I get:
Mauer (4)
Gallardo (2)
Morrow (3)
Loney (2)
Montero (minor league contract)

It is hard to say without knowing all of the intricacies of the league, but that doesn't look like a big enough return for Pujols.

Agreed, you're not getting enough back for Pujols. Especially when you're looking for pitching and you're really only getting Gallardo and Morrow and still giving up Garza
When it comes to a player like Pujols, several good players aren't often better than one. You'd need better players in return. Also Mauer respresents a big injury risk IMO.

Yeah you cant really deal Albert with 4 years left maybe 1 I would look into it cause you are going to not have him next year. But if pitching is the answer you might want to go after a top 5 pitcher.
