Am I Silly for dealing Wright/(harper) for Longoria/picks?

Thought I would get some feedback here... just ended up trading Wright and the #1 ML pick (Harper) in our draft for Longoria, the #5 pick in the ML draft and a 7th round pick. This is a keeper league, but far from a Dynasty league. 12 teams, 7x7 scoring... 6 keepers, 6 minor league keepers. Not a huge fan of Wright, he has looked off even last year since getting hit. In the 2-3 years before Harper is up I think Wright declines more then Longoria... in fact I think Longoria has some monster numbers coming up. #5 ML pick should still yield me a top 25 prospect... and the 7th rounder in this league is gold ( last year in the 7th-10th rounds I ended up getting Prado,Rios, Bucholz, & Hughes). So silly deal? I don't think so... I think its sound, however twinge of guilt after doing it.

#5 pick should yield a prospect? Or do you mean a major-leaguer who was "thrown back"

I'm old school. I believe in the "a bird in the hand is worth 10 in the bush" I value who's done it over who's supposed to do it someday. So yeah, I'm with you on the trade. Good job getting max value for hype. Good job getting Longoria. And I can't believe you also got the 5th pick. i think it's good! (contact me 3 years from now when Harper is the greatest thing ever ha ha)

Of course Wright is elite...but I really like Longoria and the 5th pick here
