Trying to convince my league to go with Quality Starts to replace Wins, but that is a debate for a different day. Was wondering about some other creative categories I could propose. I think we want to ditch Losses. Right now we use:

Any ideas? Thanks!

Your batting I like, but I would replace Loses with Holds.

We use OBP and Strikeouts in our batting categories. It helps balance the sluggers. For pitching we use quality starts and holds. I know there is some controversy around the use of holds but it adds value to set-up men, who are extremely important in the outcome of actual baseball games.

We use the following in our 6x6 league:

AVG,HR,R,RBI,SB, TWB (Total Walks +HBP+Bases. I successfully lobbied for the HBP after having Craig Biggio 2 years in a row and losing several games by 1 total base and would have won cause Biggio got hit like 4 times each week. :P)
