Final Keepers .... sigh WHIR

Postby oldmanbean » Mon Feb 28, 2011 11:39 pm

Well, all my trade offers went south, so my team is unchanged heading into final cutdown.

12 players (max allowed), $123 salary ($130 max)

1B M Cabrera 26
2B K Johnson 9
SS E Andrus 7
3B J Bautista 9, R Zimmerman 10
OF H Pence 12, N Swisher 6
P H Bell 6, J Hellickson 7, D Hudson 9
C Lee 17, B Morrow 5

The only player in question is Kennedy ($4). Would you keep him over any of these 12??

I had thought about Niemann ($8) but I am sure I can get him back cheaper.

Full roster below if you think I overlooked someone.

Thanks!!

12 team points keeper league.

We start 1 at each position plus an EH. 6 pitchers, weeekly lineups

Your keepers look fine to me. I wouldn't keep Kennedy or Niemann over any of them.

I think you should take this opportunity to rid yourself of Bautsita for free. Since you were apparently unable to trade him in the offseason, now is time to cut bait and run. He's a 25 homer guy (projecting career stats over a full season) who fluked last year and had a ridiculous ISO. I'd much rather have Neimann than Bautista. I don't trust his production as far as I can throw him.
