Who's my final keeper WHIR

Postby Guzman24 » Mon Feb 28, 2011 11:16 pm

H2H 10 Teams 6x6
We count QS and W for pitching and OBP and OPS for hitting

Cano, Zimmerman, Fielder, Holliday, Kemp are definites. Who's my final keeper?

Reyes
Dunn
N.Cruz

Cheers :-)

That's tough. I like all 3. Dunns value is high with oba.
Since ops is one, i think it's between the 2 boppers.
Think i go Cruz by a hair.

I would go with Reyes to solidify my infield and build my outfield via the draft.

Help with mine?

I like Cruz by a little bit over Dunn. Reyes to me is not a safe bet.

Funny, I have the exact same 5 keepers in one of my keeper leagues :-D . But anyway, I would go with Reyes without question. 1b/of you already have locked up and those positions are riddled with sleepers and guys you can get off the waiver wire, SS not so much. Reyes is the player you keep without question there.

Maybe in a 5x5.
But this counts oba and ops.
Dunn and Cruz crush Reyes in ops, by over .150.

I actually went Dunn.

As noted by Hootie our league is weighted towards power hitters. Reyes will be a plus player in 2 categories, runs and sb's. While Dunn and Cruz will be plus players in 3 cats HR's, RBI's, OPS.

I decided to give Dunn the nod based on his move to Cellular and Cruz's injury history. I really feel like Dunn has a shot at 50 this season

Hope I made the right choice.

Now to build my staff and find some speed at the draft :-)

thanks for the help

I think you definitely made the right move. I was thinking Dunn and it wasn't even close.

I would go with Reyes. I like Dunn a lot in this format, but SS is crazy thin this year. He adds a nice element of speed to your team.
