Looking at starting pitchers in the 160 area of the draft and am wondering if anyone can give me feedback on how they would rank these starters. 6X6, but the only four cats that matter here are W/K/ERA/WHIP
Beckett
Romero
G.Gonzalez
Bumgarner
Hughes
Dempster
WHIR

Hughes
Beckett (I look for a nice bounce back season)
Bumgarner (has the look of a younger Cliff Lee)
G.Gonzalez
Romero
Dempster (not a fan at all, can't really include him with the 4 younger guys above, besides Beckett)
PLEASE HELP ME:

Gonzalez (it's all about the Ks and upside)
Hughes (this is where I have him ranked, but I wouldn't draft him as high as he seems to go)
Bumgarner
Beckett
Romero
Dempster (I've seen him ranked higher, but I have zero interest this year)

gonzalez(k's and upside)
hughes(solid all around, terrible park/division to pitch in but great run support)
beckett(considering putting him ahead of hughes, think he bounces back in a huge way)
dempster(idk why all the hate guys very solid every year)
romero(again pretty decent all around but horrible division to be a sp in)
bumgarner(not a huge believer, not a huge k pitcher and not much run support)
help with mine

I am going to go against the grain here:
Dempster (great Ks, pitches in NL, very consistent)
Hughes (still very young)
Beckett/Gio (both risk/reward guys)
Romero
Bumgarner
Please help

I'm going to have to echo the Gio-Hughes-Gumgarner sentiment. I owned Beckett last year and he really messed with my ERA and WHIP at times. Even with a better year, I think he'll still be inconsistent. Hughes wasn't as inconsistent. He started off like a stud and finished poorly probably because of the IPs he's not used to being back and forth between the pen and rotation. His ERA won't be great, but I like his wins and Ks potential. Gio is just a stud. And Bumgarner showed really nice control and plays in the NL West. Worst-case scenario for him is still better ratios than Beckett IMO. I'd have them
Gio
Hughes
Bumgarner
Romero
Beckett
Dempster
