I already have Wright & Andrus so this will fill my middle or corner spot whichever way I go. Pablo already has 2 impressive HR's and appears really motivated after losing 38 pounds this offseason. I had Drew penciled in thinking keeping 2 good SS's at a really weak position was a good thing for trades after the draft. I usually don't get too concerned with spring numbers, especially early spring, but I have to decide this Thursday. Which way would you go in a roto, the handful of sb's Drew gets isn't much of a factor with Andrus already leading the way. The good thing is I'm doubling up on the 2 weak positions in a 14 teamer, the bad thing is I'm going to feel really stupid dropping Pablo back and he approaches his 09 year again. Drew has been the higher rated player, but he's steady & not going to be spectacular; Pablo could be more than just the final keeper for the next several seasons in this league. What to do? A month ago Pablo wasn't even assured a roster spot, now I want to lock him in as a keeper
I really think Pablo will bounce back this year. I'd say an in-between of 2009 and 2010 is a reasonable expectation.
One thing to keep in mind is you're more likely to grab a decent CI in the draft (i.e. Lind, Pena, Ike Davis, Stewart) than you are to get a MI with some upside.

I hope you don't base anything off spring stats?
when it's a guy who struggled quite a bit last year due to weight problems and then lost 45 lbs over the offseason, it's definitely something to at least pay attention to.
i'd go pablo here, i'm very optimistic about him this year and think he has a lot more upside than drew.
