Only learning about him now. He was an absolute beast in the 1950s. This from mlb.com:

Indeed he hit the most home runs (326) and ranked first in RBIs (1,031) and second in runs (970) in all of baseball in the 1950s.

My condolences to his family and fans.

probably one of the best center fieders of all-time, kind of ridiculous that he played in New York during the same time as Mays and Mantle
