I'm in a 12-team mixed 5x5 Roto auction keeper league. We have a cap of $260. At our auction we select 11 hitters and 9 pitchers into our starting lineup, 5 bench players and after the auction have a 3-player reserve draft. We can keep up to 10 players.
Our keepers are due at midnight tonight. I've made my picks. Just curious what you guys think. My keeper selections are in bold. I'll gladly help in return if you post a link.

Baseball is a game where a curve is an optical illusion, a screwball can be a pitch or a person, stealing is legal and you can spit anywhere you like except in the umpire's eye or on the ball. ~Jim Murray
Not sure why you would keep a 7 dollar Napoli when you have a 2 dollar Suzuki. Are you really going to pay an entire extra dollar for each home run more that Napoli will have?
Agree with the comment on Tori Hunter. You can do better than him for the same price I would imagine. I'm just not high on him this year at all as an "oldie but goodie". It's not going to happen for him. I would maybe hold on to Matt Thornton instead of him to start putting bullpen pieces together.
I'm not digging the 7 dollar keep of Kelly Johnson either. You already have a 5 dollar keep of Martin Prado (a much superior 2B), so why keep two? I would recommend keeping Adam LaRoche (I know he's a bit expensive), but there's no guarantee Freeman will be the guy this year, so you're giving yourself 1B insurance, and LaRoche will probably finish the year in the top 15 for 1B scoring. The Nationals lineup is definitely improved, and Adam could be good for about 25-110 with an average that won't sink you.

The 11 hitters we start are: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 4 OF, IF, UT. We also have to draft 5 bench spots. In a daily transaction league, I thought it prudent to keep Johnson especially since Prado is eligible at 3B and will add OF after 5 games (and 1B if he plays there again). I can move Prado around.
Hunter is actually coveted by a lot of people. I got multiple offers for him during our pre-keeper trading period. He could go for $20. He's a bargain in my format.
I thought about LaRoche. Last year, I waited to spend $ and got stuck paying what I did for him. I can get him back for $5-7, so that's why I'm not keeping him.
I've owned Suzuki for the last 3 years. I can get him for $1. My leaguemates don't think anything of him. They fight over Mauer, McCann, V-Mart and prospects like Wieters, Arencibia and Carlos Santana.

I would find a way to keep League as he is supposed to close with Aardsma being injured and out for a bit. Plus he will give you good K numbers and I dont think he will give the job back to Aardsma given his previous history of high WHIP and ERA.
