Cano for Bruce+Picks?! WHIR!

Postby SLBarnes » Sat Feb 26, 2011 3:43 pm

Hey folks, I was offered his Cano for my Bruce, 1 and 3rd round picks. I am in a 5x5 h2h 12 team league where we keep 5. My keepers are in my sig. except take out Rollins and put in Jimenez.

I have 2 first round picks and a lot of multiple pick rounds early in the draft.

I think I am going to do it, Cano is easily the best 2B right now...

Thoughts?

Cano is atop a somewhat scarce position, and you have Ethier. I'd say go for it.

I would probably do it as well but I have to ask, who might be available with that first round pick?

It would be nice to know who's available in the draft pool, but even still, you have a chance to get the best 2B in fantasy baseball, and you're seemingly not giving up much (especially if you get to keep 1 of your 2 first round picks, and have multiple picks in rounds).

I would do it, with a small reservation. I'll wait to hear back about what types of players are available.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

I'd offer it back to him and see if he'll bite. I think it's a good deal. He's the top guy for a very scarce position. Can't hurt to offer it again and see if he bites.
