Obviously my pitching took a hit the other day, and there is no way to replace him. however, with a trade I may be able to upgrade what I have. However, it would involve Miggy. Which of the following would you be okay with??
Miggy/Kennedy for Kemp($17)/Price($13) Miggy/Hudson for Kemp($17)/Cain($19) Miggy straight for Kemp($17)/B Wilson($9)
Thanks!
1B M Cabrera 26 2B K Johnson 9 SS E Andrus 7 3B J Bautista 9, R Zimmerman 10 OF H Pence 12, N Swisher 6 P H Bell 6, J Hellickson 7, D Hudson 9 C Lee 17, B Morrow 5
If you can do Miggy/Kennedy for Kemp/Price, I'd probably be most interested in that trade. Price comes cheaper than Cain, which is nice (how is Cain more expensive than Cliff Lee, btw?)
I love Kennedy, but I love Hudson more (so don't deal him). Bringing in Wilson doesn't do much for you, since it's SP you want to do something about...unless you'd be able to then flip Wilson for a solid SP (which I doubt would be possible). SP are always more marketable than RP.
EDIT: also, if you want to stay put, I wouldn't blame you. Miggy is a major talent, but he is just so gosh darn risky now that he has "relapsed".
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

I wouldn't trade my best player to upgrade at pitching. Your 4 SP look ok. If you do, trade 3 is the best by far. Wilson is the best priced at $9. Trade 2 is terrible. Cain is over priced and you lose Hudson. Trade 1 is ok.

Lee is a long story ... he was drafted awihle back in the $2 round, then dropped. Then picked back up at $11 which was our old waiver price. Add $2 each year and he is now $17. Cain was just drafted in a more expensive round ($13 I think)

I could live with staying put, but Price is a nice upgrade to Kennedy. Only thing is Kemp's price, not sure how long I could keep him.

Thanks ... only thing I don't like is depending on a relief pitcher!!
Only thing I left oiut of trade 1 is that I also have to drop someone from my roster, Bell or Andrus....
