I'm in a 12-team, H2H keeper/dynasty league where we can keep guys indefinitely and lose a draft pick for each keeper, up to 8 total keepers (i.e. if you keep 8, your first pick is the 9th round; if you keep 6, you start picking in the 7th).
My roster's in my signature, and right now I view Wright, CarGo, Kemp, Utley, Hanson, Ubaldo, MCab, Verlander, Wright and Werth all as keeper-worthy.
Now, I'm trying to consolidate down to 8 and my first thought was to package Werth with another player for an upgrade somewhere. Surprisingly most managers' reactions have been that they're not interested in Werth and don't view him as a keeper. Several other teams have at best 2-3 surefire keepers, and yet still don't want to trade for Werth.
I realize the move to Washington hurts Werth's situation a bit in terms of lineup and ballpark, but I still think he's a top 15 OF and top 75 overall player. Am I wrong here or is my league just full or Werth haters?
Also feel free to add any suggestions for players to target in a 2-for-1 type deal. Maybe I'm just going after the wrong players.
