Bautista or Hanson keepers?

Postby Lord Jbo » Fri Feb 25, 2011 3:48 pm

Lets say I'm in a 12 team mixed 5x5 auction keeper league. We get to keep 3 guys each season. I'm stumped on who to pick as my last keeper (Hanley and Lee are first 2) between ~ Jose Bautista and Tommy Hanson. They are both going to cost me 25 bucks each but who has the better fantasy value??

I also have Liriano but thought Hanson was a better keeper out of the two pitchers imo.

Thanks

I would keep Tommy H , i just dont buy Bautista power surge from a noboby to a hr king. I smell he made a trip to consult Bonds. Also i think Hanson will have a great year.

Even if he were to hit like 35 jacks, 100 rbi and 3rd base being somewhat shallow this season you'd still take Hanson?

I would keep Bautista. Needless to say, he'll regress but his plate approach has changed also to believe he can still hit for 30-35 HR (chance for 40 HR). Plus, you're already keeping Cliff Lee and with only 3 keepers, you're more likely to get either Liriano or Hanson back in the draft.
