So I just joined a keeper league that was abandoned by a previous owner. Yahoo, H2H, 7 keepers, 10teams, 5x5. I decided to keep: Jason Heyward, A-Rod, Dan Uggla, B.J. Upton, Carl Crawford, Lincecum, and Jered Weaver.
I have the 4th pick in the draft and am thinking these are the best draft options:
Jose Bautista
Jose Reyes
Buster Posey
Josh Johnson
Tommy Hanson
Ichiro
Billy Butler
David Price
Mike Stanton
Dan Haren
Max Scherzer
Brian McCann
Rickie Weeks
Who should I target out of these guys for my first pick? How about ranking the top 4 so I know I can be assured one. Thanks and WHIR!!!!!

With 70 players being kept, and you having pick 4, what you're really looking at is who are you going to take with the 74th pick of the draft. Also, being able to keep 7 players year to year, to me seems like a great opportunity with the players you have listed.
My personal favorite in this case would be Posey, even tho I'm a Reyes fan, and I'm keeping both in my league, and Reyes is rated higher than Posey in most rankings.
My personal order would be:
Posey
Reyes
Bautista
Josh Johnson
McCann
Any one of those five would be a great value where you're getting them. I'd then cross my fingers and hope Stanton is still there on the way back. Good luck!

Reyes is the best fit as far as position goes. Think you could use another 30-35+ HR threat and Bautista is a close second.
Thanks for the input. I guess I like Posey over Bautista because of Posey's youth and potential. I'm thinking Bautista has the most potential of being this years Carlos Quinton. Thoughts?
