I was offered as a counter to one of my offers this:
I get: Vernon Wells, Cole Hamels
I give: Adam Dunn, Jonathan Sanchez

I was thinking of offering Dunn/Sanchez for Hamels/Hudson? In definite need of some advice here though. Thanks!

i actually like the trade offer ...hamels is the best player imo , and you get him...
if you do want to counter just to see what happens keep the trade hanging and ask for crawford instead of wells ...

Anyone else have any advice...I don't really want to let go of Sanchez, i feel like he's gonna have a big year this year

I like the deal as is. Wells will replace Dunn and you are getting the better pitcher in Hamels. Hamels was awesome toward the end of last year and now he'll be pitching as the 3/4th pitcher rather than the 2nd. I think he'll be better than Sanchez. If you ask for Hamels and Hudson, I think your hitting takes a pretty good hit. I like Hudson; he was great after moving the NL and should be just as good this year. However, I'd want a hitter to help replace Dunn.

Both the offer and your counter are good to me, with the offer being slightly better (hate to give up Dunn, even when loaded).
