I'm in a 10 team cumulative points keeper league, and we're allowed to keep 4 guys. The rules for what round you can keep them in get a little complicated, but here are the guys I'm considering:

Crawford - Rd 2
Mauer - Rd 4
Greinke - Rd 5
Cano - Rd 8
McCutchen - Rd 10

With the way the league is, I'm pretty sure I could get back McCutchen or Mauer with my 1st or 3rd round pick. (The way the keepers are set up Mauer would be a 1st-rounder next year if I keep him anyway.) It looks like there are going to be some pretty decent outfielders available early, but I'm thinking on rolling the dice with McCutchen since I have him in the 10th round. Any thoughts? WHIR obviously.

I think your instinct is correct, keep McCutchen. You have him at such a significant value, I'd keep him over Mauer.

What about cano? In the 8th round, I think he's far and away the best value.
(Out of cutch in rd 10 and mauer in rd 4, mccutchen is the better bet.)

Agreed. Cano is your best value. Between Mauer and McCutchen, I'll take McCutchen.
