I'm in a 10 team cumulative points keeper league, and we're allowed to keep 4 guys. The rules for what round you can keep them in get a little complicated, but here are the guys I'm considering:
With the way the league is, I'm pretty sure I could get back McCutchen or Mauer with my 1st or 3rd round pick. (The way the keepers are set up Mauer would be a 1st-rounder next year if I keep him anyway.) It looks like there are going to be some pretty decent outfielders available early, but I'm thinking on rolling the dice with McCutchen since I have him in the 10th round. Any thoughts? WHIR obviously.
Potential free guys ------------------------ Justin Upton/Matt Kemp/Shin-Soo Choo (one guy has all three and has to drop at least one) Nelson Cruz David Price Josh Johnson Carpenter Hunter Pence Every catcher but V-Mart
SCORING ------------------ HR 10, TB 5, BB 5, R 10, RBI 10, SB 10, K -5, CS -5, GIDP -10 IP 18, ER -6, W 35, L -30, SV 25, K 4, H -4, BB -3, QS 20

Thanks for the input on mine.
Agreed. Cano is your best value. Between Mauer and McCutchen, I'll take McCutchen.
