I'm considering offering Ryan Howard and Daniel Hudson for Pedro Alvarez and Tommy Hanson.
Starting Pitching is definitely my strong point, and yes, I do realize I have 1/0 closers. I subscribe to the "don't pay for saves AT ALL" theory and pick them up as the season goes along through free agency or throw ins to trades. I won the championship last year so I'm willing to take a short term hit between Howard-Alvarez because I think their performance arcs will cross by next season and it will be a plus going forward. Hanson-Hudson would be a win for me, but also moreso insurance in case Alvarez tanks.
What do you guys think?

I made a bet in 2003 that the Devil Rays would win the 2008 World Series. Oh so close.
