No question about it, really bad karma by Gomes, and it's such an outrageous and horrible thing to do that I almost don't believe the report. Hating each other is fine. Jubilantly celebrating a career derailment of another member of the fraternity of major league baseball is crossing a line I don't think very many players are confused about. It isn't just low class, it's no class. Cheering injuries is wrong pretty much no matter the circumstance. There's something called sportsmanship.
