traded my Crawford/Weaver for his Howard/Jimenez

I didn't have a whole lot of speed lookin at my team after the draft anyway...his team looking at it already has 4 or 5 speed guys which i think helps make his team overall weaker by taking Howards power...I like the pitching trade because at first he wanted it to be a straight up so I said he wants Crawford I'm gonna get a power pitcher! thoughts???

This...the difference from Crawford to Howard is a bit bigger then the difference of Weaver and Jimenez...not awful by any means, but I'd rather have the Crawford/Weaver side (w/o knowing league specifics)

I would rather have the Howard/Jimenez side pretty easily, but if your team is already short on speed then losing Crawford hurts you quite a bit.

the motivation is that I currently had Kendry Morales at 1B and unsure if I trust he'll return to form so thinking of moving him before I'm stuck with him!

You could do worse than Morales at 1B. Coming off major knee surgery is a concern, but nothing quite like arm/shoulder issues either.

I probably would have kept the Crawford/Weaver side. It's a very even deal either way.
