This is a 10 team ROTO league and my starters are pretty well set. We use basically every Category under the sun and use the individual outfield positions (L/C/R). I need to cut down to 25 so 8 good player have got to go. Here are your candidates:
Miguel Montero (C) Asdrubal Cabrera (2B/SS) Scott Rolen (3B) Ian Stewart (3B) Alex Gordon (3B/LF) Jason Bay (LF) Jose Tabata (LF/CF) Adam Lind (LF) Phil Hughes (SP) Jhoulys Chacin (SP) Edison Volquez (SP) Erik Bedard (SP) Francisco Cordero (RP) Hing-Chih Kuo (RP) Jonny Venters (RP) Daniel Bard (RP)
I need to keep at least one 3B, my starting staff is sick so starting pitching doesn't need a whole lot, my relievers are these guys, Axford, and Chris Perez. We use Holds and middle relievers are a huge boost in this league. Which 8 would you release and of course I WHIR.
Not knowing anything about your current squad (which kind of makes this impossible) I guess I'd cut Cabrera, Gordon, Chacin, Bedard, Montero, Hing-Chih Kuo, Rolen, and I suppose Volquez if your SP is as sick as you say.
I'll post my team but I am just looking for opinions on which 8 to keep. I realize this information helps a lot but it also leads to other questions and league bashing.
