ok so im in a standard 5x5 league. 14 teams, you keep 5 players and players can only be kept for a maximum of 3 years. you also have a future who is essentially a 6th keeper as long as you designated him prior to last season and never used him(and he less then a certain amount of abs/ innings piched in the majors).im the returning champ and i have the 14th pick. so far my keepers look like this

c-carlos santana(future) essentially a free 6th keeper
ss-tulo
3b-arod
of-carlos gonzalez
sp-ubaldo jimenez

the rest of my roster looks like this

1b/3b-youk
of-shane victorino
of-jayson werth
sp-matt cain

so my question is should i keep youk or cain? there is also a very good possibility i could obtain zimmerman if i package some of the above. im leaning youk as i think hell have a huge season with adrian in the lineup plus he has the versatility of 1b/3b which i need since im keepign arod. the argument could be made that if i keep cain id have a more balanced team going into the draft but personally i think hitting wins championships and since its a snake draft ill have the 14th and 15th pick overall where i can probably grab another 2 very solid pitchers or a pitcher and hitter. i think cain would ahve a slight chance of falling to me at pick 14 and youk would have no chance. not positive wholl be in the draft as all keepers are due the same day but it looks like the studs will go way before me (c.c., verlander, kershaw possibly cain) also feelings on johan santana? should i take a risk on him ? i believe id be in the playoff race without him but when he comes back i could make a huge push maybe? opinions please ill gladly help you out.

youk, cain, possibly zimmerman?

I'd want something that is dependsble, and I cannot look past Youkilis here. Plus, he has two positions... 3B is pretty shallow. I like him here.

I like Youk here. I agree that he will benefit fron AGon in the lineup and the multi-position availability is an added benefit.

I'd lean toward Youk and then Zimmerman.

I'd keep Youk from your current crop of keepers, but if you can get Zimmerman, I prefer him to Youk.

Agree with above. But are you SURE he has 3b?? He only played 2 games there last year, is that enough?? If not, what do you need to get Zim???

hell gain 3b after the first week in my league i believe ,5 games at 3b and hes good but liek i said i have arod there. also i could probably get zimmerman for youk or cain and victorino and werth or something along those lines
