wouldn't be my strategy. Why pick a DH in round 2? Fill another position or look to trade out.

Don't lock up DH so quick. There'll be other great talent there. And I think 10 is early for Tex anyway.

Thanks for all your replys, I should explain a little more about scoring system and why this is my strategy. In my league batting out ways the pitching: (6 points for a HR, to give you an idea)...We also get 1 point for Double plays turned. So I tend to draft power hitting first basemen in first couple rounds if available. First basemen are usually 98% involved in DPT, those extra points makes a significant difference at end of the week. Im usually the only guy who drafts this way in my league, but it has paid off: 49-21 record, 1 trophy in three years.Last year with 7th pick got Tex and Miggy first 2 rounds , once Tex got hot I was unstoppable. We know what Tex brings and I would hate to pass on Fielder in a contract year just because he had a down year last year. Check out Fielder 's trends per year I think he has another 40hr 120 rbi this year. If thats the case Tex and Fielder would take me to the promise land once again?

I am taking best talent available at the moment, but I am thinking there must be other talent at same time that addresses line up. You can get plenty of talent in ten tema league to fill in at utility.
I'd be more tempted to take a high end 2B though Cano and Utley likey done... I am guessing your SS (Hanely and Tulo) are gone.... At tenth pick, you must be near David Wright.... I might even take two pick outfielders if they are there.....
Wright/Utley
Votto/Cargo
Cargo/Braun
Not sure what you have left, but in this 10-team league.... If I was bound and determined as liek you, I would be just as happy with a Dunn or Youkilis as my 2nd 1B/DH.
