How can I make this team better?

Postby BeautifulBrunette » Sat Mar 27, 2004 10:57 am

Could I get your ideas on strengths/weaknesses/suggested improvements? League is 12 team roto. Categories are R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG and W, SV, K, ERA, WHP.

Thanks, as always. Great to be back isn't it? ;-D

You seem to have plenty of depth in the outfield. I'd consider trying to trade Johnny Damon for a pretty good starting pitcher. If unable to garner one, possible look to trade him for a 30+ saves pitcher.... unless you have a free agent out there that qualifies.

If Damon doesn't get any bites, maybe deal away Preston Wilson for a top-rate starter. Frankly, this would weaken your OF options a bit.. but what I'm seeing is a certain need for SV's/K's and ERA.

I agree with Rancer-definitely look to deal for a SP or RP. You're solid with your offense, go for a pitcher, and good luck with it.
